Zemmoa, whose artistic name is derived from the French “C’est moi” which means “I am me”, is a Mexico City based musician, performer and multi-media artist. Driven to tell her story as a queer and transgender artist, she created Zemmporio Records when a record company told her they were not ready for an artist who plays with gender identity.

Since then, Zemmoa has performed in Paris, Berlin, Milan, Madrid, Barcelona, Brussels, Vienna, NY, LA, Chicago, Bogota, Argentina, and many cities throughout Mexico and has sung for many personalities such as Mario Testino, Jean Paul Gaultier and Jeremy Scott. She has opened for Peaches, Technotronic, Hercules & Love Affair, and Erasure and just released her third full length album this Summer 2018 entitled “Covers”, which she will perform live at ICUQTS 2018.

B!TCH3Z Productionz (Jonny Sommer, f. 2012) is a radical hospitality and nightlife arts platform offering freelance curatorial and bar services, as well as hospitality consultation and artist management. In efforts to celebrate underground party economies and artists alike as vehicles of vital queer cultural production and critical creative exchange, B!TCH3Z is excited to present Zemmoa in collaboration with TrQpiteca at I.C.U.Q.T.S 2018.
