We are a community of QTPOC martial artists who foster an intersectional, trauma-informed, and anti-fascist culture of training. Our goal is to support, elevate, and empower fellow QTPOC and marginalized peoples physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
“The Body” is a collection of work about how we move trauma through our bodies. Included is a trauma-informed guide to teaching self-defense that you can apply to your own practice and community.
Our name “Stormé Legacy” comes from Stormé DeLarverie, a POC drag king and butch lesbian who fought off police aggression during the Stonewall Riots.
